REVIEW: Clinique DDML+

To start of, let me tell you a little bit about my skin. I always get dry patches on my cheeks, chin, under my eyes&eyelids and sometimes my forehead. But mostly, on my cheeks and chin. I don't know whether to categorize my skin as very dry or combination dry because i do get acne once in a while. My skin is pretty messed up if you asked me.

I have used so many moisturizers throughout my teen years, mostly are drugstore products. I have not found my ultimate moisturizer yet, but i've been using Moogoo's Soothing MSM to relieve my rashes and dry patches (Because I wanted to use a natural kind of product). It worked until one day my face decided to go crazy on me! Currently I have acne on my forehead, dry areas on my cheeks and flaky chin! On top of that, my face gets so itchy if I didn't use any moisturizer !

So, I went online to search for a moisturizer with great reviews. I stumbled upon Clinique's Dramatically Different Lotion review, some say it's amazing, some say it does nothing to help them. I was a bit skeptical to buy it at first, but i went out anyway to get them ! I just couldn't stand of my dry, flaky and itchy face anymore -.- I went to Sephora at Sunway Pyramid that day, and take a look at it. It comes in 2 sizes, which is 50ml ( RM68 ) and 125ml ( RM145 ). I bought the smaller one because the big one is quite huge ( atleast for me ), the small size is sufficient enough for my daily use.

As said on the box, this is meant for very dry-dry combination skin. If you have oily skin, there is another type which is the gel type for oily combination-oily skin.

The texture of it is very creamy like and to me it does tend to be a bit oily, but i like it that way! 

The color of the lotion is like a beige kind of a yellow( doesn't bother me much ).

This lotion is 100% fragrance free ( YAY! )

What makes me happy is that this moisturizer is paraben-free!

This lotion does not irritate my skin at all. After using this moisturizer for 2 days, i can say that my flaky  dry skin is not visible anymore! I love this moisturizer! I am utterly happy that my skin is back to normal, even the itchiness is gone :D

Oh, and i also use the Clinique Liquid Facial Soap Extra Mild before applying this moisturizer. I must say that the cleanser do not dry me out ! I don't have that tight feeling every time i wash my face. I'm loving the cleanser too. But, the sample i got from Sephora just ran out. So, I purchased a trial box for very dry skin from Clinique.com.my to try their 3-Step Skin Care ( trying my luck ).

I think my skin is okay with Clinique products. Gonna give it a go for a month and will let you know. Overall, this product is pretty delicate for sensitive skin :)
